BIG CHILL PRESENTS : Summer Festival Warm Up Terrace Party Wednesday 9th June

Those of you who have been to the Big Chill House before will know about it's roof terrace, it's huge. The summer is finally here and as the festival season approaches Big Chill have organized a one off special event with dancehall merchant Toddla T and garage pioneer EL-B spinning beats all evening.

"We’ve decided to throw a midweek summer festival warm up party featuring some of our favourite acts performing festival-tinged performances. IT’S FREE TO ALL, we’ll have the BBQ cranked, the tunes a’ rockin’ and the drinks will be flowing.

Helping celebrate these summer-vibes we have Toddla T who’ll be performing a very special dancehall set alongside garage-pioneer El-B who will be dropping by to perform a very special Cumbia set. Word on the street is that his parents own one the UK’s biggest collection of Latin-American ‘Cumbian’ music so prepare to get your groove on as he showcases another side to his sound! Joining the dots we find Big Chill legend Mixmaster Morris , one of the UK’s finest DJs and regular at both Festival and Big Chill London venues. Rounding things off will be the How's My Raving? Dubbel Dutch - Throwback EP

I've long been bigging up Dubbel Dutch and finally he has released his Throwback ep on Palms Out Sounds. It's an absolute corker and a real blend of styles. The thing I love the most about his production especially on Throwback is the drums, the snare is beastly, they've got such a good snappy feel to them. Any how I strongly recommend dishing out some coin for this beauty of a release......have a listen here though
