I've long been bigging up Dubbel Dutch and finally he has released his Throwback ep on Palms Out Sounds. It's an absolute corker and a real blend of styles. The thing I love the most about his production especially on Throwback is the drums, the snare is beastly, they've got such a good snappy feel to them. Any how I strongly recommend dishing out some coin for this beauty of a release......have a listen here though
Breach (aka Ben Westbeech) has been hard at work it seems, hitting soundcloud with a sizable slab of production. This one is called Fatherless and is getting massive support from the likes of Joy Orbison, Oneman and Dark Sky. A tasty fruitloop (Beastie Boys) style flute sample is the main component of this track which I literally can't wait to get my hands on......Heads up people
Now, for some house music from all ends of the spectrum. Chicago influenced deep house, tech house and disco house this post is just serving to indicate the variety that is out there at the moment....
Nice to see Ramadanman team up with his mate Midland to make this bouncy track
Kink is Bulgaria's answer to a massive black house pioneer from Chicago, here is his remix of German house wizards the Lovebirds, check out the original mix, it's a beaut
I really like the way Hot City uses rave stabs, it gives his tracks proper old school vibes. In this particular remix he cuts up the vocals from the original leaving hardly any left, which is a very good thing, and lays down trademark skipping beat and stabs...
Man of the moment James Blake has done this remix of Mount Kimbie. Blake's new ep CMYK is out now and if you haven't heard it or got a copy I strongly recommend you do. The guy is supremely talented and leading the way in the future sounds of dubstep....
Another Mount Kimbie remix for you. Falty DL, producer of one of the finest albums of 2009, hits up the garage vibes on this one. A dark and seedy little number...
